In this work we propose to give an account of a situated and focused on the relationship subject-subject investigation, based on the dialogue with Voria Stefanovsky, member of the romani/gypsy people. In order to achieve that we dialogue with the perspectives centrated on the subject, taking as a reference the border investigation and the perspective from the subject who has autonomy as a project. Since our meeting with Voria, we assume the challenge to show how her everyday struggles were developed, appreciating her critical and transformative thinking. This reflective exercise allows us to understand that the experience to be/of being on the borders, enables us renewed readings, linkages and to take consciousness of the multiple violences that crosses us and which we generate from the academy. This realization implies ruptures and displacements towards other ways of being / living / knowing.
