La posibilidad de traer pacientes de otras regiones de Colombia y del mundo requiere de una Unidad de Transporte aéreo Medicalizado fortalecida y capaz de suplir la demanda no solo para la Fundación Cardiovascular de Colombia sino para las diferentes Instituciones de Salud. Hoy la FCV, pone en marcha el nuevo complejo médico internacional HOSPITAL INTERNACIONAL DE COLOMBIA HIC, y con él, se acrecienta la demanda de pacientes que requieren atención en salud y de traslado aéreo Medicalizado como servicio complementario a este.
