Por ende, se propone al clarinete como instrumento solista durante el periodo del romanticismo musical, teniendo en cuenta las características técnicas y estilísticas de dicho periodo. Otro aspecto importante en este proyecto de grado es la contextualización histórica del romanticismo musical y del clarinete dentro de dicho periodo, ya que esto permite comprender con mayor profundidad el estilo que predominaba en la música durante ésta época. A su vez el conocimiento del contexto en el cual fueron creadas las obras, le ayuda al interprete a indagar sobre el sentido conceptual de los diferentes pasajes que las componen.
