Es posible un ejercicio científicoy humanístico de la medicina, debemos buscarlo y ayudar a establecerlo. Hay que ser un buen médico y un médico bueno. An ideal for the XXI centuryIt is necessary to restore respect for the patient, each suffering human being. The physician is a servant to others. Let us return to beingphysicians, and back to the Hippocratic Oath: in purity and holiness I will keep my life and my art. Being a doctor is much more than havingscientific knowledge, a scientist lacking humanity can easily become an illustrated barbarian. A humane and scientific exercise of themedical profession is possible we must strive for, and make our dearest effort to establish.
