Para ello se comienza por criticar la relación entre la categoría región y la noción de Estado-nación, intentando superar ciertas posiciones teóricas dualistas- "los de adentro y los de afuera" – y verla más bien como un proceso histórico dinámico y conflictivo total, en el que es posible comprender con más claridad la conformación de una región específica.SummaryThis article tries to show the process through which a very particular region of the Colombian nation, the Magdalena Medio, acquired its configuration.
