Por esto, el objetivo del presente trabajo es implementar las situaciones didácticas para favorecer en los estudiantes de décimo grado, la solución de problemas trigonométricos con triángulos rectángulos, aplicado en una Institución Educativa Pública del Municipio de Bucaramanga. El trabajo está conformado por cuatro capítulos que se explican brevemente a continuación: en el desarrollo de la investigación en el capítulo uno se presenta el planteamiento del problema de investigación, el cual se divide en descripción y planteamiento del problema, justificación, objetivo general y específicos. Se continuará en el capítulo dos con el desarrollo del marco teórico subdividido en antecedentes de investigación; fundamentación teórica enmarcada en la enseñanza y aprendizaje de la matemática: Didáctica de la matemática, Sistemas y pensamiento Geométrico – Métrico. Seguidamente, en el capítulo tres se describe el diseño metodológico de investigación subdividido en la contextualización de la investigación, descripción poblacional participante, técnicas e instrumentos y descripción del proceso metodológico, enfoque metodológico a partir del paradigma cualitativo y su importancia, se plantea el diseño metodológico desde la IA. Se finaliza con el capítulo cuatro realizando el proceso de análisis de resultados, las categorías emergentes analizadas fueron: “Lenguaje matemático”; “Comprensión lectora”; “Analíticos y descriptivos”; “Presaberes”; y “Actitudinal”. Finalmente se presentan las conclusiones y recomendaciones, referentes bibliográficos y los anexos.
