dc.description.abstractenglish | Methanol, a simple alcohol composed of carbon, hydrogen and oxygen atoms, plays a crucial role in the study of the chemistry of the interstellar medium and prebiotic chemistry. Due to its simple molecular structure and high abundance in space, methanol is considered an indispensable precursor for the synthesis of more complex organic compounds, including amino acids, fundamental building blocks for life. This research aims to identify the rotational lines of methanol and to determine its abundance in young solar-type stellar objects, using rotational diagrams. The objects selected for this study are Barnard 1, L1527 and NGC 1333 IRAS 4A. These sources provide a representative sample of the early stages of solar-type star formation. This sample of pre-stellar objects offers a detailed insight into the possible processes involved in the synthesis of complex organic molecules in the extreme environments of space. In addition, this research sheds light on the chemical environments where prebiotic molecules emerge, which are fundamental for the emergence of life in planetary systems, e.g. the chemical origins of the solar system. For this research, we used open-access spectral data from the Astrochemical Surveys At IRAM (ASAI), obtained with the IRAM 30m radio telescope. Spectral identification was performed using CASSIS software and the spectral databases Cologne Database for Molecular Spectroscopy (CDMS) and Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL). All methanol spectral lines detected with a signal-to-noise ratio equal to or higher than 3σ were considered for this study, ensuring an exhaustive examination of the rotational transitions of the molecule in the selected sources. As a result, we identified 62 rotational lines in Barnard 1, 37 in L1527 and 171 in NGC 1333 IRAS 4A. The rotational diagrams obtained from the identified lines provided a mechanism to assess the thermal distribution and density of methanol, as well as detailed information on the physical and evolutionary properties of the selected sources.
