| dc.description | El artículo aborda el pensamiento educativo de los sofistas, con el fin de rescatar su aportación a la educación como disciplina; es decir, a la pedagogía. La paideia sofística se destaca por aspectos como la enseñanza de la retórica, que pone el énfasis en el lenguaje, pero lo relevante de su concepción educativa es su finalidad, a saber, la formación política del ciudadano. Protágoras, sofista destacado, ejerció la enseñanza dando al concepto de paideia el sentido de formación intelectual y política. | es-ES |
| dc.description | This article approaches the sophist’s educational thought, in order to rescue his contribution to the education as discipline; it is to say, to the pedagogy. The sophistic paideia is outlined by the rhetorical teaching, which does emphasis on language, but the important thing of his educational conception is the purpose, which is the citizen’s political formation. Protagoras, who was an important sophist, taught and understood the paideia’s concept as intellectual and political formation. | en-US |
