dc.description.abstractenglish | In this paper, a nonlinear model for a MA2000 PUMA manipulator arm is obtained, where trajectories formed by a finite sum of harmonic Fourier series are used to obtain experimental functions. The nonlinear mathematical model is obtained by using the Euler- Lagrange equations and parameters are estimated from the experimental measurement of dynamic of robot joints: waist, shoulder and elbow and by using a curve fitting method. The identification process focuses on the use of a gray box modeling; this in order to use a priori knowledge of the system obtained by the formulation of Euler-Lagrange and helps the optimization algorithm implemented in the search for system parameters. After obtaining the model for a MA2000 PUMA, this is linearized in order to design optimal controllers. The performance of such controllers is compared with previously tuned PID controllers, for each one of the robot joints. This design, is intended to improve the speed and accuracy of the robot with respect to PID controllers, in addition to obtaining meaningful conclusions on the performance of optimal drivers and parametric identification of robotic systems.
