dc.description.abstractLa presente investigación se desarrolló en el marco de la Maestría en Didáctica de la Lengua, de la Universidad Industrial de Santander. El objetivo general fue fortalecer la escritura en los estudiantes de décimo grado del Centro Educativo El Guayabal, a través de la compilación de textos provenientes de la tradición oral, específicamente de las leyendas que se relatan en su región, con miras a preservar este patrimonio cultural local. Esta propuesta didáctica no solo fortaleció la escritura de los estudiantes, sino también rescató las leyendas rurales y las agrupó en un libro titulado Sustos del ayer, hoy y siempre, el cual fue uno de los productos de este proyecto. Como se investigó el entorno y la realidad educativa de los estudiantes, este trabajo de aplicación tuvo un enfoque cualitativo y un diseño metodológico de investigación-acción, dado que se transformaron las prácticas educativas utilizadas para el fortalecimiento de la escritura de los estudiantes. La intervención didáctica cumplió el modelo cíclico propuesto por Whitehead (1991), que consistió en el diagnóstico de los saberes previos y la situación escritural de los estudiantes; la creación de una secuencia didáctica, en torno a la preservación de las leyendas locales, para dar solución a los problemas encontrados en el diagnóstico; la implementación de dicha secuencia didáctica; la evaluación del impacto de la secuencia y de los alcances y las dificultades de los estudiantes; finalmente, la transformación de las prácticas educativas a partir de la reflexión.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe present research was developed within the framework of the Master in Didactics of the Language, from the Industrial University of Santander. The general objective was to enhance the writing skill in students of tenth grade in El Guayabal Educational Center, through the compilation of texts from the oral tradition, specifically from legends which are related in their region, with a look to preserve the local cultural heritage. This didactic proposal is not only focused to strengthen the writing competence of the students, but also to recover the rural legends and organize them in a book entitled as Scares of yesterday, today and forever, which was one of the outcomes of this project. As the environment and the educational reality of the students were researched, this applicational work had a qualitative approach and a methodological design of the investigation-response, as the educational practices used to increase the students writing accomplishment. The didactic intervention fulfilled the cyclical model proposed by Whitehead (1991), which expressed the diagnosis of the previous knowledge and the scriptural situation of the students; consequently, the creation of a didactic sequence, around the preservation of local legends, in order to solve the problems encountered in the diagnosis, along with the implementation of the didactic sequence, the evaluation of the impact of the sequence and the scope and difficulties from students; to conclude, the transformation of educational practices based on reflection.
