dc.description.abstractCon el fin de aportar al análisis de la viabilidad de evaluación de proyectos para la ejecución de un servicio de pozo, el propósito del trabajo ha sido elaborar una herramienta metodológica capaz de estudiar las diferentes variables que pueden afectar la rentabilidad de estos, por medio del análisis de indicadores financieros. Para generar la metodología como primer paso se identificaron las variables más relevantes que pudiesen afectar directa o indirectamente la ejecución de cada servicio como la producción diaria, el tipo y frecuencia de falla, el consumo de energía para el funcionamiento del sistema de levantamiento, entre otras. Adicionalmente fue necesario revisar y entender el comportamiento general de los pozos con ayuda del histórico que se tenía, dado que de este se despliegan factores importantes como el tiempo estimado por servicio y el consumo de material que pueden agregar o quitar valor a los costos de inversión. La metodología ofrece la opción de eliminar la subjetividad en la decisión de hacer o no un servicio a pozo con falla, basado en los parámetros operacionales y financieros de estos, que permitan modelar el comportamiento de cada caso y así poder hacer proyecciones en el periodo de evaluación, pasando de un escenario en el que se decide subjetivamente la intervención de un pozo, a otro en el que se hace de manera metodológica, estructurada y que pueda implementarse en cualquier candidato independientemente de las condiciones individuales de cada uno. Por último, para validar el desempeño de la metodología, se aplicó a un grupo de pozos del campo de estudio, y se hizo la correspondiente interpretación de datos. Una vez obtenidos los resultados de rentabilidad por pozo, se hizo un análisis de sensibilidad para estudiar los diferentes escenarios que pudieran presentarse y así poder hacer seguimiento a cambios futuros en los parámetros.
dc.description.abstractenglishAiming to contribute to the projects evaluation feasibility analysis for a well services intervention, the purpose of this work has been to develop a methodological tool capable of studying the different variables that can affect the profitability of these, through the financial indicators analysis. In order to generate the methodology as a first step, the most relevant variables that could directly or indirectly affect the execution of each service were identified, such as fluids daily production, type and frequency of failure, energy consumption for the operation of the artificial lift system, among others. Additionally, it was necessary to review and understand the general behavior of the field wells based on the historical one, to calculate important factors such as the estimated time per service and the consumption of material that can add or take away value to the investment costs. The methodology offers the option of eliminating subjectivity in the decision to perform or not a well service with failure, based on the operational and financial parameters of these, which allow to model the specific behavior of each case and thus be able to make projections in the period of evaluation, going from a scenario in which the intervention of a well is subjectively decided, to another in which it is done in a methodological, structured way and that can be implemented in any candidate regardless of the individual conditions of each one. Finally, to validate the performance of the methodology, it was applied to a selected group of wells from the field of study, and the corresponding interpretation of results was made. Once the profitability results were obtained per well, a sensitivity analysis was carried out to study the different scenarios that could arise and thus be able to monitor future changes in the parameters.
