dc.description.abstractEl propósito fundamental del estudio era conocer el impacto logrado por laEspecialización en Alta Gerencia de la UIS en sus graduados correspondiente a las promocionesquince a la diecinueve de los años 2.003 al 2.006. Los aspectos más relevantes se enfocaron aconocer los motivos que incentivaron a los graduados a participar en la especialización, nivel decumplimiento de las expectativas y la identificación de las variables que intervinieron en logro desus objetivos. Los objetivos del proyecto también se enfocaron a evaluar cada uno de loselementos que intervienen en la especialización, así como la aplicación de los conocimientos adquiridos en la actividad profesional. Los resultados de la investigación buscan conocer si los objetivos de la especialización planteadospor La Escuela de Ingeniería Universidad Industrial de Santander se cumplen, si las competenciasadquiridas están relacionadas con las requeridas por el sector productivo y si los docentes que intervienen en la formación de los profesionales cumplen con las expectativas de los graduados. Finalmente, la investigación también se orienta a conocer la opinión de la propuesta pedagógica delos docentes, la calidad de la educación que recibieron y en general de todos aquellos aspectos que formaban parte del desarrollo de la especialización.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe fundamental intention of the study was to know the impact obtained by theSpecialization in High Management the UIS in his graduated corresponding to promotions fifteen tothe nineteen as years 2,003 to the 2.006. The most excellent aspects focused to know the reasonsthat they stimulated to the graduated ones to participate in the specialization, level of fulfillment ofthe expectations and the identification of the variables that took part in profit of their objectives. Theobjectives of the project also focused to evaluate each one of the elements that take part in the specialization, as well as the application of the knowledge acquired in the professional activity. The results of the investigation look for to know if the objectives of the specialization raised by theSchool of Engineering Industrial University of Santander are fulfilled, if the acquired competitionsare related to the required ones by the productive sector and if the educational ones that take part in the formation of the professionals fulfill the expectations of the graduated ones. Finally, the investigation also is oriented to know the opinion the pedagogical proposal of theeducational ones, the quality of the education that received and in general of all those aspects that comprised of the development of the specialization.
