SUMMARYThis essay wants to bring up to date the philosophical reflection facing the problems and reforms being carried out at the University. To this respect, the metaphoric set about "the city" that we find in Descartes and in Wittgenstein is analized. Once a critical parallel is established between the two thinkers the paper moves on to highlight the model of reforms to the University that we could obtain from each one of these authors. Finally the preferences about the pluralism and the meaningful opening that we can learn from L.Wittgenstein.
