dc.description.abstractLa organización del tiempo laboral del maestro se percibe como un asunto crucial para determinar su calidad de vida y la calidad de la educación que imparte. La organización del tiempo laboral implica para el maestro cierta angustia, cierto malestar, pero al mismo tiempo lo lleva a pensar que sólo a través de una educación de calidad es posible conducir a una nación hacia el progreso, el desarrollo y el bienestar de sus habitantes, y que él es un actor clave en este proceso. El presente estudio se enfocó en realizar una investigación de carácter cualitativo de orden histórico, haciendo uso de la historia de vida y revisión documental; se desarrolló en un tiempo de dos años, en donde se indagó si la problemática actual relacionada con el tiempo laboral del maestro y la organización de este la experimentaron maestros oficiales de la Provincia Guanentá en la época de 1957 a 1979, con el fin de encontrar elementos que enriquezcan el quehacer del maestro y contribuyan a mejorar la calidad de la educación colombiana. dc.description.abstractenglishThe organization of the labor time of teachers is perceived as a crucial matter to determine the quality of life and the quality of education they provide. This organization of labor time implies to the teacher, a certain anguish, a certain uneasiness, but at the same time, it takes him/her to think that only through of a good education is possible to lead a nation to progress, growth, and well-being of its population, and that he/she is a key actor in this process. The current study was focused on the development of a qualitative, historical research; using the story of life and documentary revision, developed in a time period of two years, in which it was enquired if the official teachers from province of Guanentá of the period between 1957 and 1979, experienced the current difficulties in order to find the elements that enrich the teacher™s chore and at the same time that contribute to improve the quality of Colombian education. Throughout this research it was concluded that the politics, rules and governmental regulations have influence in the teacher™s job, and that the quality of life and the quality of education are directly related to the kind of organization of the teacher™s
