It highlights the testimonies that these Indigenous women, and their ancestors, have about the Yaqui River. This work involves an interdisciplinary framework. It seeks to rescue the oral history from the voices of the Yaqui women about the Yaqui River. The testimonies are mainly related to scarcity and pollution of the Yaqui River and Water; nevertheless, there are involved other problems (cultural, economic, labor, health, and forced migration). | en-US |
| dc.description | El terreno de este trabajo se enmarca en el campo de la memoria étnica, género y clase en la historia oral. Su objetivo es presentar al Río Yaqui desde las narrativas de mujeres Yaquis. Dentro de esta mirada se vislumbra la memoria que tienen ellas, y sus ancestros, sobre el emblemático río. Este trabajo utiliza un marco teórico interdisciplinario y un diseño metodológico múlti-método, desde donde se busca rescatar la memoria en torno al Río Yaqui contada desde las voces de las mujeres Yaquis. Los testimonios fluctúan entre varios ejes relacionados con la escasez y contaminación del Río Yaqui, lo que a su vez genera otro tipo de problemas (culturales, económicos, laborales, de salud y de migración forzada). | es-ES |
