| dc.description | The article discusses the use of interviews with political elites in memory research, based on the fieldwork conducted with governors of the state of Espírito Santo (Brazil). In a dialogue with the literature dealing with qualitative methods, the text seeks to present the main problems, challenges and advantages of using the interview technique in the research in question. In particular, it is emphasized that, focusing on the memories of political elites, the potentialities and challenges of the interview have particular characteristics, arising from the type of interviewee and the objective of the interview in question. | en-US |
| dc.description | El artículo discute el uso de entrevistas con élites políticas en investigación sobre memoria con base en el trabajo de campo realizado con gobernadores del Estado de Espíritu Santo (Brasil). En diálogo con la literatura que trata de métodos cualitativos, el texto busca presentar cuáles fueron los principales problemas, desafíos y ventajas de la utilización de la técnica de entrevista en la investigación en cuestión. En particular, se pretende resaltar que, al enfocarse en las memorias de elites políticas, las potencialidades y los desafíos de la entrevista tienen características particulares, dependiendo del tipo de entrevistado y del objetivo de la entrevista realizada. | es-ES |
