| dc.description | Un grupo de mujeres campesinas, indígenas de la comunidad Muisca y mestizas habitantes de los barrios populares del territorio de Shuba en Bogotá, se agrupan alrededor de la necesidad de dialogar y problematizar el contenido, sentido y pervivencia de sus tradiciones, prácticas y memoria colectiva, con el fin de evitar que las continuas olas de modernización arrastren hacia el olvido este cumulo de saberes colectivos, propios de una experiencia sobre el territorio. Por tal razón, se han planteado colectivamente la compleja tarea de (re)significar la memoria histórica y social de su territorio. Para esto utilizan la tradicional técnica del bordado de Arpilleras que en América Latina viene siendo utilizado en diferentes contextos como un relato social muy ligado con la feminidad en torno a los sucesos históricos que se ciernen sobre las comunidades. Construyendo una visión entrañable, una representación de los espacios del territorio que ellas habitaron y del territorio que las habita, las mujeres tejedoras de Shuba han configurado un ejercicio de creación donde se posibilita un particular tránsito hacia la sanación colectiva por medio del relato social y la (re)significación de la memoria por medio de las técnicas populares y tradicionales de tejido. | es-ES |
| dc.description | A group of peasant, indigenous and mestizo women inhabitants of the Shuba region in Bogota, they are grouped around a space called let’s take memory in the public library Francisco José of Caldas. There they arised the need to dialogue and problematize the content of their traditions, practices and their collective memory in order to avoid that the continuous waves of modernization drag to the forgetfulness this cumulate of knowledge own of an experience on the territory. For this, they use the traditional embroidery technique of Arpilleras that in Latin America has been used in different contexts as a social story closely linked with femininity around the historical events that surround the communities. By constructing an intimate vision, a representation of the spaces of the territory that they inhabited and of the territory that inhabits them, the women weavers of Shuba have configured an exercise of creation where it is possible a particular transit towards the collective healing through the social story and the (re) significance of memory through popular and traditional techniques of weaving. | en-US |
