| dc.description | The following proposal contributes to knowing the social, political and economic transformation of Santiago Acusilapa, a town that was merced and congregated during the colonial period. In the seventeenth century, one of the most important estates in Huichapan el Astillero “Acusilapa”, was founded in these places. At first it belonged to the Sánchez de Espinoza family. For the eighteenth century, the farm is acquired by Manuel González, Benefactor of Huichapan. His economic contributions served to build important works for the benefit of the town. In response, the civil and ecclesiastical authorities offered the construction of a praying statue of the benefactor inside the convent of San Mateo Huichapan, Hidalgo, Mexico. | en-US |
| dc.description | La siguiente propuesta contribuye a conocer la transformación social, política y económica de Santiago Acusilapa, pueblo que durante el periodo colonial fue mercedado y congregado. Para el siglo XVII se fundó en dichos parajes una de las haciendas más importantes de Huichapan, El Astillero, alías Acusilapa. En un primer momento perteneció a la familia Sánchez de Espinoza. Para el siglo XVIII, la hacienda fue adquirida por Manuel González, Benefactor de Huichapan. Sus contribuciones económicas sirvieron para la edificación de importantes obras en beneficio del pueblo. En respuesta, las autoridades civiles y eclesiásticas ofrecieron la construcción de una estatua orante del benefactor dentro del convento de San Mateo Huichapan, Hidalgo, México. | es-ES |
