| dc.description | The historiographic research proposal entitled "History and memory: Chile in the tramas de la transición", is dedicated to the theme of the Chilean redemocratization from the 1991 and 2004 final reports of the Verdad Commissions of historical memories of the country in the face of human rights violations that took place in the 1973 authoritarian regime until 1990. We intend to analyze how Chile deals with past violations and how it relates to the mechanisms of political memory and transition justice between 1991 and 2006. In this sense, our academic problem unfolds on how the final reports represent fundamental milestones in the process of redemocratization of the country, from where the debate about the transition remains very current and there are narratives about the past a recurring dispute in the public sphere of society, showing that disputes over the past are re-energized in the dynamic process of the present. Therefore, for this incursion, we launched an interdisciplinary look, relating the history, the memory and the field of the direction from the transition justice in the light of human rights. | en-US |
| dc.description | La propuesta de investigación historiográfica titulada "Historia y memoria: Chile en las tramas de la transición", se dedica al tema de la redemocratización chilena a partir de los informes finales de las Comisiones de la Verdad de 1991 y 2004, para comprender la producción de las memorias históricas del país frente a las violaciones de derechos humanos ocurridas en el régimen autoritario desde 1973 hasta 1990. Pretendemos analizar la manera como Chile lidia con ese pasado reciente de violaciones y cómo lo relaciona con los mecanismos de memoria política y justicia de transición entre los años 1991 y 2006. En ese sentido, nuestro problema académico se desdobla sobre cómo los Informes finales representan marcos fundamentales en el proceso de redemocratización del país, donde el debate sobre la transición sigue siendo bastante actual y hace de las narrativas sobre el pasado una disputa recurrente en la esfera pública de la sociedad, demostrando que las disputas sobre el pasado, se reactualizan en el dinámico proceso del presente. Por lo tanto, para esa incursión, lanzamos una mirada interdisciplinaria, relacionando la historia, la memoria y el campo del derecho, a partir de la justicia de transición a la luz de los derechos humanos. | es-ES |
