| dc.description | The mass media are able to install ideas according to the transformations that take place in reality, they can also reinforce traditional images and stereotyped roles of each one. It is relevant to investigate how the media have been collecting and, at the same time, building the image of women. In particular, it is interesting to know the development of this aspect in Peruvian television, over three decades that reflect political violence, corruption, authoritarianism and democratic recovery. Next, an analysis and reflections on female roles and gender relations within the framework of the Peruvian media, gender theories and Peruvian political history will be offered, taking into consideration different television genres: comedy programs, programs of entertainment and relevant TV series in the television history of Peru in a historical context from 1980 to 2010. | en-US |
| dc.description | Los medios de comunicación son capaces de instalar ideas de acuerdo a las transformaciones que se realizan en la realidad, también pueden reforzar imágenes tradicionales y roles estereotipados de cada quien. Resulta relevante indagar cómo han venido los medios de comunicación recogiendo y, a la vez construyendo la imagen de las mujeres. En particular, interesa conocer el desarrollo de este aspecto en la televisión peruana, a lo largo de tres décadas que reflejan violencia política, corrupción, autoritarismo y recuperación democrática. A continuación, se ofrecerá un análisis y reflexiones sobre los roles femeninos y las relaciones de género dentro del marco de los medios de comunicación peruano, las teorías de género y las historia política peruana, tomando en consideración distintos géneros televisivos: programas cómicos, programas de farándula y teleseries relevantes en la historia televisiva del Perú en un contexto histórico a partir de 1980 hasta el 2010. | es-ES |
