Este artículo presenta un análisis de la novela “Qué solos que se quedan los muertos” publicada en el año 1985 por el escritor Argentino Mempo Giardinelli, realizado a partir de la noción de la metáfora de Dios como re-actualización del mito, con la pretensión de enriquecer la tarea de re-escribir la historia, revisión que requiere de la verdad y memoria de nuestros pueblos latinoamericanos. José Giustozzi, personaje principal de esta novela, representa la historia y la memoria de una generación condenada por la dictadura militar en Argentina entre los años 1976 y 1983 y caracteriza la condición potestativa del exilio en México en donde la muerte y la soledad se encuentran envueltos en el crimen y la impunidad afirmando el complot, noción que permite definir el sujeto dentro del control de unas fuerzas ocultas que configuran y delinean el mundo social.
This article presents an analysis of the novel "Que solos que se quedan los muertos", published in 1985 by the Argentine writer Mempo Giardinelli, based on the notion of the metaphor of God as a re-update of the myth with the aim to enrich the asset to re-write the history, this revision requires the truth and memories from our Latinoamerican towns. José Giustozzi, main character of this novel, represents the history and memory of a generation condemned by the military dictatorship in Argentina between the years 1976 – 1983 and characterizes the potestative condition of exile in Mexico where death and solitude are involved in crime and impunity affirming the complot, notion that allow us to define the subject within the control of some hidden forces that configure and underline the social world.
