dc.description.abstract	Este proyecto de grado tiene el objetivo de aprovechar los adelantos tecnológicos, financieros, sociales y políticos de la industria geotérmica y petrolera en Colombia con el fin de identificar las oportunidades para una mutua transferencia de tecnología. En primer lugar se describe el panorama actual de la Energía geotérmica en Colombia; su desarrollo, marco normativo y ambiental que la pueden regir, exponiendo cada una de las características potenciales con las que cuenta el país para desarrollar esta industria a un corto, mediano y largo plazo. Posteriormente se identificaron algunos problemas principales que estas dos industrias enfrentan en Colombia referente a ingeniería, marco legislativo y ambiental que puedan relacionarse mutuamente con el objetivo de recopilar información de la tecnología y legislación actual más relevante de estas industrias, que puede ser aplicada en Colombia. A través de una matriz DOFA se analizó la información recopilada con el fin de la identificación de oportunidades para la implementación de transferencia de tecnología entre la industria de los hidrocarburos y geotérmica en el país. Finalmente se describen las oportunidades para realizar la transferencia de tecnología más conveniente para cada industria en Colombia, a partir de la evaluación de las virtudes de cada una de las propuestas y como éstas pueden dar solución a sus necesidades.
dc.description.abstractenglish	This degree project aims to take advantage of technological, financial, social and political developments of geothermal and oil and gas industry in Colombia in order to identify opportunities for mutual transfer of technology. First of all, the current outlook of geothermal energy in Colombia was described also with its development, regulatory and environmental framework that can govern it, exposing each of the potential features that the country has to develop this industry in a short, medium and long term. Subsequently some major problems which confront these two industries in Colombia were identified relating to engineering, legal and environmental framework that can associate to each other in order to gather information from the most relevant technology and current legislation of these industries, which can be applied in Colombia. The information gathered in order to identify opportunities to implement technology transfer between geothermal and hydrocarbons industry in the country were analyzed through a SWOT matrix. Finally, the opportunities for technology transfer more convenient for each industry in Colombia, from the assessment of the attributes of each of the proposals and how they can solve their needs were described. 1
