| dc.description | The research carried out with the sabedores[1] of the people Nasa of Sa'th Tama Kiwe - Caldono, Cauca, revolved around the tension in the indigenous peoples between autonomously educating their children, from the principles and cosmological values or from the orientations of Western thought. The general objective was to identify communally the most significant elements of primary socialization of girls and boys, their processes of identification and cultural self-determination. The road travelled made it possible to place in tension the dominant notions of primary socialization, with the cultural category of seeds of life, between individual well-being and another process that seeks dignified life in harmony with Mother Earth. The work was from the dialogue of knowledge - mingas[2] of thought, spaces of ritualized encounter with others, this communicates knowledge, senses, dreams; according to Borda, sentipensamientos allows us to build and recreate knowledge in order to face the situations of inequality and injustice that affect the peoples of the South. | dc.description | Investigación realizada con los sabedores del pueblo Nasa de Sa’th Tama Kiwe – Caldono, Cauca, que giró alrededor de la tensión presente en los pueblos indígenas entre el formar autónomamente a sus niños y niñas desde los principios y valores cosmológicos o desde orientaciones del pensamiento occidental. El objetivo general fue identificar comunitariamente los elementos más significativos de la socialización primaria de las niñas y niños, sus procesos de identificación y autodeterminación cultural. El camino recorrido nos permitió colocar en tensión las nociones de socialización primaria dominantes, con la categoría cultural de semillas de vida, entre un proceso que busca el bienestar individual y otro proceso que pretende la vida digna en armonía con la Madre Tierra. La investigación se realizó desde el diálogo de saberes - mingas de pensamiento, espacios de encuentro ritualizado con otros, diálogo que comunica saberes, sentidos, sueños y, parafraseando al maestro Fals Borda, sentipensamientos, que permiten construir y recrear saberes para afrontar las situaciones de desigualdad e injusticia que afectan a cientos de pueblos del Sur del mundo.
