| dc.description | The work that the reader will be available part of a series of questions that I have raised as part of my doctoral thesis on cemeteries during the 19th century Mexican, the approach that I've had with these spaces of death has led me to touch related topics such as: the popular, religious practices, rituals, and social perceptions before the pain and fear. The cemetery seen from a cultural history space shows how these issues converge inside showing how society has been a major agent my interest is to see these issues in a general manner through the long life in Mexico, focusing research on the colonial era of the new Spain, the passage of the camposanto cemetery and finally the cemetery from the contemporary look. | en-US |
| dc.description | El trabajo que el lector tiene a su disposición parte de una serie de preguntas que me he planteado como parte de mi tesis doctoral sobre cementerios durante el siglo XIX mexicano; el acercamiento que he tenido con estos espacios de la muerte me ha llevado a tocar otros temas afines como lo popular, las prácticas religiosas, los rituales, y las percepciones sociales ante el dolor y el miedo. El espacio del cementerio visto a partir de una historia cultural muestra como estos temas convergen en su interior mostrando como la sociedad ha sido un agente importante. Mi interés es ver estos temas de una manera general a través de la larga duración en México, centrando la investigación en la época virreinal de la Nueva España, el paso de camposanto a cementerio y por último el cementerio desde la mirada contemporánea. | es-ES |
