| dc.description | In this article we carry out a rigorous study of the philosophical foundations of the democratic clause in the Constitution of 1991. For this work, we start with a definition of democracy as the form of government that aims to ensure greater participation of the people, which can claim at any time their rights and the exercise of power. Also in the text we pointed out the difficulty between majorities and minorities, through a description of the main elements that make up the democratic clause as a guiding principle in the Colombian Constitution and whose realization is necessary for the quality of democracy. Facing the methodological aspect, the article as a partial result of research had a qualitative approach, grounded in descriptive research, under a documentary design. | en-US |
| dc.description | En el presente artículo realizamos un estudio riguroso de los fundamentos filosóficos de la cláusula democrática en la Constitución Política de 1991. Para esta labor, partimos de una definición de la democracia como la forma de gobierno que se dirige a garantizar la mayor participación del pueblo, el cual puede reivindicar en cualquier momento sus derechos y ejercer el poder. Asimismo, en el texto señalamos la dificultad existente entre mayorías y minorías, mediante una descripción de los principales elementos que configuran la cláusula democrática, como principio rector en la Constitución colombiana y cuya realización es necesaria para la calidad de la democracia. Frente al aspecto metodológico, el artículo como resultado parcial de investigación, contó con un enfoque cualitativo, cimentado en la investigación descriptiva, bajo un diseño documental. | es-ES |
