dc.descriptionThis article offers an analysis from a historical, political and normative perspective on Pan-Americanism, in order to understand its implications in the regularization strategies of the mining and oil sector, during the first half of the 20th century, emphasizing the period pre- and post-World War II. Likewise, it gives an account of the administrative readjustment process and the promotion of the mining - energy sector in Colombia. In methodological terms, this proposal is based on transnational history and tries to make sense of phenomena that could not be explained in isolation, supporting the hypothesis that during the war mining in the American continent underwent a series of regulatory measures.en-US
dc.descriptionEl presente artículo ofrece un análisis desde una perspectiva histórica, política y normativa en torno al panamericanismo, con el fin de comprender sus implicaciones en las estrategias de regularización del sector minero y petrolero, durante la primera mitad del siglo XX, haciendo énfasis en el período pre y post Segunda Guerra Mundial. Asimismo, da cuenta del proceso de reajuste administrativo y la promoción del sector minero – energético en Colombia. En términos metodológicos, esta propuesta se sustenta en la historia trasnacional y procura dar sentido a fenómenos que no han podido explicarse de manera aislada, sustentando la hipótesis que durante la guerra la minería en el continente americano experimentó una serie de medidas regulatorias.es-ES
