| dc.description | We share our reflections on ways of knowing and doing in social research based on the narrative reconstruction of our own experience in training and in the profession of researchers. We propose that it is necessary to overcome rationalist training models that deny subjectivity and alienate the conscience of the social and the possibility of being honestly and sensitively involved with people. We rescue the subject-subject perspective, an involved and situated subject. A subjectivity, built or molded in a context, a territoriality that has a diversity that is distinguished in its physical-natural dimensions, but mainly in its cultural attributes. The work on our implications requires reference to third parties, goes through other views, through the mediating action of others, requires alterations. There is, then, no self-analysis possible at work on implication and reflexibility. We highlight the complexity and multidimensionality of the approach to the social and its construction. Construction that must recognize the multisignification of the facts, to produce a shared knowledge and a discourse, which in terms of Giroux (1997), must account for the itinerant language of differences, assuming that there is no neutrality in the investigative work. | dc.description | Compartimos nuestras reflexiones sobre formas de conocer y hacer en investigación social a partir de la reconstrucción narrativa de nuestra propia experiencia en la formación y en el oficio de investigadores. Planteamos que es necesario superar modelos de formación racionalistas que niegan la subjetividad y alienan la conciencia de lo social y la posibilidad de implicarse honesta y sensiblemente con la gente. Rescatamos la perspectiva sujeto-sujeto, un sujeto implicado y situado. Una subjetividad, construida o moldeada en un contexto, territorialidad que posee una diversidad que se distingue en sus dimensiones físico-naturales, pero principalmente en sus atributos culturales. El trabajo sobre nuestras implicaciones necesita de la referencia a terceros, pasa por otras miradas, por la acción mediadora de otros, requiere de alteraciones. No hay, entonces, autoanálisis posible en el trabajo sobre la implicación y la reflexibilidad. Resaltamos la complejidad y la multidimensionalidad que supone el abordaje de lo social y su construcción. Construcción que debe reconocer la multisignificación de los hechos, para producir un conocimiento compartido y un discurso, que en términos de Giroux (1997) debe dar cuenta del lenguaje itinerante de las diferencias, asumiendo que no existe neutralidad en la labor investigativa.
