| dc.description | El presente estudio presenta de manera panorámica los diversos proyectos que materializó la Asamblea Departamental de Antioquia con el propósito de colonizar a la región de Urabá, entre los que se contaron el trazado de una línea ferroviaria y la construcción de carreteras –caso de la vía al mar–, infraestructuras necesarias para consolidar, primero, la explotación y la comercialización de productos agrícolas y mineros –como tagua, banano, ipecacuana, oro, platino y carbón–, que lentamente se integraron a la economía mundial, y, segundo, visibilizar la presencia de la institucionalidad en una zona tanto olvidada como inexplorada, históricamente. | es-ES |
| dc.description | This study presents in a panoramic way the various projects that the Antioquia Departmental Assembly carried out with the purpose of colonizing the Urabá region, among which were the layout of a railway line and the construction of roads - the case of the mar-, infrastructures necessary to consolidate, first, the exploitation and commercialization of agricultural and mining products –such as tagua, bananas, ipecacuana, gold, platinum and coal–, which slowly became integrated into the world economy, and, second, to make visible the presence of the institutions in an area both forgotten and unexplored, historically. | en-US |
