dc.description.abstract	La explotación del gas de producción en los campos de petróleo en la actualidad constituye una ventaja competitiva en la etapa de operación. Hoy por hoy, la incineración de este valioso producto tiene consecuencias ambientales, económicas y técnicas en cuanto a la administración del yacimiento y del campo en general. Con el presente trabajo se evaluará técnica y económicamente el aprovechamiento del gas del campo Azucena para recomendar la alternativa que represente la mejor oportunidad de negocio para el campo. Para lograr lo anterior, se evaluarán las opciones técnicas que permitan usar el gas de producción del campo Azucena y se cuantificará sus beneficios para determinar cuál de estas resulta ser la más conveniente. Basado en esta información, se valorarán los procesos de tratamiento, procesamiento, reinyección y cogeneración con gas, asociado al conocimiento actual y futuro del yacimiento, con el objeto de determinar si representa una mejor oportunidad para el campo un proceso de reinyección o un proceso de cogeneración. Es importante mencionar que Azucena es un nombre figurativo que fue usado en esta monografía para conservar la confidencialidad de la información del campo sobre el cual fue desarrollada la investigación. dc.description.abstractenglish	The exploitation of the gas of production in the fields of oil at present constitutes a competitive advantage in the stage of operation. Actually, the incineration of this valuable product has environmental, economic and technical consequences as for the administration of the reservoir and of the field in general. The present work will evaluate technical and economically the utilization of production gas of the Azucena field, to recommend the alternative that represents the best opportunity of business for the field. To achieve the previous thing, there will be evaluated the technical options that allow to use the production gas of the Azucena field and its benefits will be quantified to determine which of these turns out to be the most suitable. Based on this information, there will be valued the processes of treatment, processing, reinjection and cogeneration by gas associated with the current and future knowledge of the reservoir, in order to determine if a better opportunity represents for the field a process of reinjection or a process of cogeneration. It is important to mention that Azucena is a figurative name that was used in this monograph to preserve the confidentiality of the information of the field on which the investigation was developed.
