El artículo analiza la pertinencia de estudiar las comisiones de la violencia elaboradas en Colombia desde 1958; entendiendo el valor de éstas más allá de ser un documento narrativo, puesto que poseen un potencial de estudio en relación con la construcción de memoria histórica y al estudio del pasado reciente a la luz de las políticas de la memoria y la pertinencia del pasado como posibilidad en el presente. Permitiendo que sea posible entender el pasado como un haber sido, acercando a la construcción un futuro posible para los habitantes del territorio colombiano.
The article analyzes what is the pertinence of studying the violence commissions elaborated in Colombia since 1958; It has to be understood that beyond a narrative paper, these commissions are fundamental part for studying the construction of historical memory in light of not only all the politics that involves the concept of memory but also the pertinence of the past as a chance in present times. Therefore it will be possible to understand this past like a time that just had happened and thus a future in the Colombian land may be also a remarkable one for its inhabitants.
