| dc.description | Este documento presenta evidencia empírica sobre la relación entre las aspiraciones de crecimiento de los emprendedores colombianos y el capital humano general y específico. A partir de información a nivel individual sobre la actividad emprendedora disponible en el Global Entrepreneruship Monitor para el período 2015 y 2016, se estima un modelo de regresión logística multinomial que da soporte a los diferentes efectos de la educación y la experiencia sobre las aspiraciones de crecimiento de los emprendedores en Colombia. Los resultados demuestran que para el año 2015 el capital humano específico es significativo, mientras que, el capital humano general no, lo anterior bajo el argumento de que poseer experticia le permite al individuo administrar y organizar mejor sus negocios y obtener éxito empresarial. Respecto al año 2016, el capital humano general es significativo en todos los niveles de aspiración de crecimiento del emprendedor, en oposición al capital humano específico. Se discuten los hallazgos e implicaciones de los resultados obtenidos. | es-ES |
| dc.description | This document presents empirical evidence on the relationship between the growth aspirations of Colombian entrepreneurs and general and specific human capital. Based on information at the individual level on the entrepreneurial activity available in the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor for the period 2015 and 2016, a multinomial logistic regression model is estimated that supports the different effects of education and experience on growth aspirations of entrepreneurs in Colombia. The results show that for 2015 the specific human capital is significant, while the general human capital is not, the above under the argument that having expertise allows the individual to better manage and organize their business and achieve business success. Compared to 2016, general human capital is significant at all levels of entrepreneurial growth aspiration, as opposed to specific human capital. The findings and implications of the results obtained are discussed. | en-US |
