En este artículo se presentan los conceptos básicos que describen el proceso de calentamiento por inducción electromagnética, así como también los sistemas eléctricos y electrónicos necesarios para lograrlo. Se describenlos resultados, alcanzados con un primer prototipo desde el punto de vista eléctrico y se concluye que el sistema decontrol propuesto puede funcionar en equipos de mayor potencia.
In this article it has been presented the basic concepts that describe the heating process by electromagnetic inductionand the necessary electrical and electronic systems required to achieve it. The result of a tirst prototype has beendescribed from the electrical point ofview. Based on these results it can be said thatthe proposed control system couldwork in higher power systems.
