| dc.description | El presente trabajo tiene por objeto identificar el papel que jugaron las milicias santafereñas en los procesos de transformación política, fiscal y administrativa que se vivieron en la Nueva Granada a finales del siglo XVIII, cuando la política revisionista borbónica quiso mejorar la gobernabilidad en las colonias, mediante reformas que socavaron la armonía parroquial y el orden provincial; hecho que terminó por generar manifestaciones de descontento social, donde las compañías vecinales tuvieron un rol protagónico. | es-ES |
