dc.description.abstract	Este documento es el resultado de trabajo hecho en áreas de la Especialización en Evaluación y Gerencia de Proyectos en la Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS). Este estudio se hace para establecer la prefactibilidad de crear una empresa que produce paneles de concreto prefabricado (TILT WALL) para proveer a todos los tipos de constructores en la ciudad de Cúcuta y su entorno. El área metropolitana de Cúcuta no es indiferente al continuo crecimiento de la industria de la construcción en los años recientes, los límites de la ciudad se están expandiendo continuamente y su población crece rápidamente, junto con esto las políticas de vivienda desde el presidente anterior y el actual demandan sistemas de construcción más rápidos con trabajadores mejor entrenados, al igual que utilización de métodos más tecnificados que ofrecen mayores ventajas a tanto a productores como a consumidores. Este estudio establece si este proyecto de carácter privado tiene futuro financiero, empezando desde establecer si hay clientes potenciales que estén dispuestos a cambiar los métodos tradicionales; tomando en consideración las necesidades técnicas para producir e instalar estos paneles, el flujo de caja proyectado y verificando diferentes escenarios. Este estudio pretende reducir el riesgo que pueda impactar directamente el proyecto, proporcionando herramientas de decisión a los inversionistas.
dc.description.abstractenglish	This document is the result of work done in areas of Specialization in Project Assessment and Management in the Industrial University of Santander (UIS). This study is to establish the feasibility of creating a company that produces precast concrete panels (TILT WALL) to provide to builders in the city of Cucuta and its metropolitan area. The metropolitan area of Cucuta is not indifferent to the continuous growth of the construction industry in the near past, the city limits are expanding and its population increasing rapidly, along this the housing politics since the last president ant the current are demanding faster building systems and better trained construction workers, using up to date technology offering great advantages for producers as for buyers. This study establishes weather as a private investment project has financial future, starting from establishing if there are potential clients willing to change the traditional methods; taking in consideration the technical needs to produce and install these panels, to the cash flow projected to the future and checking different scenarios. This study intends to reduce the risk that will directly impact the project providing tools for investors to make better decisions.
