| dc.description | The aim of this work is intended to demonstrate how the Spanish historians of the first half of the XIXth century, carried out a reinterpretation of the tolerance between Muslims and Christians in al-Ándalus through their works, in close relation between their political ideology and the historical time in which they lived. In this way, the authors analyzed fall into two groups: those who presented the medieval tolerance as a tool for the construction of the Spanish identity, and those who found in the tolerance a model to achieve unity as Nation. | en-US |
| dc.description | El presente trabajo pretende demostrar cómo los historiadores españoles de la primera mitad del siglo XIX llevaron a cabo una reinterpretación de la tolerancia entre musulmanes y cristianos en al-Ándalus a través de sus obras, influidos por su filiación política y por el periodo histórico en el cual vivieron. De esta forma los autores aquí analizados se dividen en dos grandes grupos: aquellos que se sirvieron de los ejemplos de tolerancia medieval para llevar a cabo una propuesta en la construcción de la identidad de España y aquellos que encontraron en la tolerancia un modelo para alcanzar la unidad como nación. | es-ES |
