dc.description.abstract	La línea base ambiental desarrollada en el presente estudio, identifica las características ambientales del área de influencia del proyecto minero para la explotación de material de arrastre en el río Ariari, en el municipio de Fuente de oro, departamento del Meta, Colombia. Describe la actual situación de los aspectos bióticos y abióticos del área y valora el posible impacto generado por las actividades mineras proyectadas como herramienta básica para la elaboración posterior del Plan de Manejo Ambiental, que debe ser presentado a la autoridad ambiental regional, para plantear las actividades tendientes a minimizar huellas e impactos ambientales negativos, posteriores al cierre y abandono sobre el entorno natural inicial. A través de las inspecciones de campo se realizaron los respectivos muestreos, mediciones y observaciones directas e indirectas; para cada uno de los componentes que conforman el medio, con el fin de identificar in situ las condiciones iníciales de la zona y los fenómeno presentes, para indicar cada aspecto del mismo y las medidas para mitigar y/o reducir su efecto durante las labores mineras. Factor importante para el levantamiento de la información lo constituyeron la información secundaria y el conocimiento de la zona por parte de los habitantes de la región en cuanto a la fauna y flora del área de influencia directa.
dc.description.abstractenglish	The environmental baseline developed in the present study identifies the environmental characteristics of the area of influence of the mining project for the exploitation of dredged material in the Ariari River in the town of Fuente de Oro, in the department of Meta, Colombia. Describe the current situation of biotic and abiotic aspects of the area and assesses the potential impact generated by mining activities planned as a basic tool for the further development of the Environmental Management Plan, which must be submitted to the regional environmental authority, to plan activities tending to minimize fingerprints and negative, post-closure and abandonment of the initial natural environment environmental impacts. Through field inspections respective sampling, measurement and direct and indirect observations were made; for each of the components that make up the average, in order to identify in situ the initial conditions of the area and the phenomenon present to indicate every aspect of it and measures to mitigate and / or reduce its effect during mining operations . Important for the collection of information factor is constituted secondary information and knowledge of the area by the inhabitants of the region un terms of flora and wildlife of the direct influence area.
