| dc.description.abstract | El desarrollo de la ruta directa (HID) de hidrodesulfuración (HDS) ha sido estudiado a través de la hidrodesaromatización (HDA) de moléculas aromáticas, debido a la relación en el mecanismo por el cual se sugiere que ambas reacciones proceden. En el siguiente trabajo de grado se estudio la reactividad en ausencia de H2S de moléculas representativas de los aromáticos presentes en el combustible diesel. Una serie de catalizadores bimetálicos Pd--Al2O3 con diferentes proporciones molares Pd/(Pd+Pt) fueron preparados mediante la técnica de co-impregnacion; y caracterizados por absorción atómica y adsorción-desorción de nitrógeno. | |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | The development of the direct route (HYD) of hydrodesulfurization (HDS) has been studied through the hydrodearomatization (HDA) of aromatic compounds due to the relationship in the mechanism by which it is suggested that both reactions proceed. In this final studies work report, the reactivity of representative molecules of the aromatics present in diesel fuel was evaluated in the absence of H2S. A series of bimetallic Pd-Pt/-Al2O3 catalysts with different Pd/(Pd+Pt) molar ratios were prepared by the co-impregnation technique and characterized by atomic absorption and nitrogen adsorption-desorption techniques. The catalysts were tested in two kinds of reactions: (i) HDA of naphthalene (NFT) at 543 K and (ii) HDA of tetralin (TTL) at 473 K. In both reactions, a 3% in mass of the model molecule and 5 MPa of pressure was used. The results show the high hydrogenating capacity of the Pd-Pt/-Al2O3 catalysts; and the influence of the temperature and the Pd/(Pd+Pt) molar ratio over the tetralin conversion (%CTTN) and the selectivity (Strans-). Principally, it was concluded that the reactivity is controlled by the Pd/(Pd+Pt) molar ratio of the metals in the active phase where the increase in the selectivity is due to the firoll-overfl of the intermediate product over the catalytic surface. | |
