En los últimos años, el espacio y el territorio se han convertido en categorías frecuentemente utilizadas en el mundo de las ciencias sociales, no obstante, su uso ha caído en una especie de instrumentalización que, bajo una apariencia metafórica, las despoja de su potencial explicativo y analítico. En este sentido, el siguiente trabajo busca introducir elementos conceptuales que permitan superar la mera enunciación del espacio y el territorio. Particularmente, nos interesa señalar cómo el espacio y las múltiples relaciones que lo constituyen, abren opciones de conocimiento para explicar la sociedad y su movimiento.
In recent years, space and territory have become frequently used categories in the world of social science, however, its use has fallen into a kind of manipulation that, in a metaphorical appearance, deprives them of their potential to explain and analytical. In this regard, the following paper seeks to introduce conceptual elements to overcome the mere enunciation of space and territory. In particular, we want to point out how space and the multiple relationships that constitute it, open knowledge options to explain society and its movement.
