| dc.description | El artículo analiza las problematizaciones del consumo en los debates sobre desarrollo y dependencia acaecidos durante el tercer cuarto del siglo XX en América Latina. Combinando la historia del pensamiento económico y la sociología de las problematizaciones con el análisis discursivo de documentos, se ponen en diálogo los aportes del estructuralismo cepalino, del dependentismo y de los debates sobre estilos de desarrollo. Se concluye que en América Latina fueron formulados interrogantes sobre el consumo desde una perspectiva atenta a los problemas singulares de la región, implicando sustantivas revisiones de aquellos propuestos por los economistas de los países centrales. | es-ES |
| dc.description | The article analyzes the problematizations of consumption in the debates on development and dependency that took place during the third quarter of the 20th century in Latin America. Dovetailing the History of Economic Thought and the Sociology of Problematizations with the discursive analysis of documents, the contributions of ECLAC structuralism, dependentism and debates about development styles are put into dialogue. It is concluded that in Latin America questions were asked about consumption from a perspective attentive to the specific problems of the region, involving substantive revisions of those proposed by the economists of the central countries. | en-US |
