dc.description.abstract	La presente monografía es el derivación del desarrollo un proceso sistemático de estudios de prefactibilidad realizados por los autores, motivados por la necesidad que tiene ECOPETROL de incrementar y asegurar la producción de petróleo en los campo ubicados en los corregimientos de Petrolea y Sardinata en el municipio de Tibú y de disponer de energía eléctrica exclusivamente para atender las necesidades de operación. Los autores proponen la instalación y puesta en marcha de una planta termoeléctrica de autogeneración a base de gas que garantizará cumplir con la demanda actual del campo (860 kW/hora al nivel de 13.2KV) con una proyección de crecimiento anual del 14%. De la evaluación financiera se proyecta una inversión requerida para el montaje de la planta de autogeneración y sus procesos incorporados de $4.147.530.000; valor que se puede recuperar en el año 4, teniendo una proyección de 10 años de vida útil, además se tiene una TIR mayor que la tasa de oportunidad y un VPN positivo, indicando que es un proyecto viable. El objeto del proyecto se ajusta a la actualidad y situación mundial sobre el uso significativo de la participación de energías alternativas en los procesos de producción industrial. Motivado por aspectos como la preocupación por el cambio climático, alteraciones en los precios del petróleo, aumento en conocimientos tecnológicos de vanguardia y sin dejar de lado los incentivos económicos que los gobiernos vienen otorgando a quienes las implementan.
dc.description.abstractenglish	The present monograph is the derivation of the development of a systematic process of feasibility studies made by the authors, motivated by the necessity ECOPETROL has to increase and assure the production of petroleum in the field located in the groups of oil judges and Sardinata, in Tibú municipality and to have electrical energy exclusively to tend to the operation needs. The authors propose the installation and the beginning of a thermoelectrical natural gasbased plant of selfgeneration that will guarantee fulfill the present demand of the field (860 kW/hour at the level of 13.2KV) with a projection of annual growth of 14%. About the financial evaluation, an investment is required for the assembly of the selfgeneration plant projects and its incorporated processes of $4.147.530.000; value that can be recovered in the 4rd year, having a projection of a 10year utility life, in addition the rate of opportunity has a TIR greater than and a positive VPN, indicating that it is a viable project. The object of the project adjusts to the present time and worldwide situation on the significant use of the participation of alternative energies in the processes of industrial production. Motivated by aspects as the concern by the climatic change, alterations in the prices of petroleum, increase in technological knowledge and without leaving aside the economic incentives that the government is been granting to those who implement them.
