| dc.description | This paper does some readings that are implicit in an international beauty pageant, in this case Miss Universe, understanding it as a platform for visibility and legitimization of countries and territories. To talk about these questions, in first place, is shown the profile and requirements that exist for being a beauty queen, and later analyse how this nationalities on the runway end up creating dialogues related with politics and ethnicity, insofar that is talking about women that are performing their nations by her beauty. | en-US |

Para hablar de dichas cuestiones, en primer lugar, se muestran el perfil y requisito existente para ser reina de belleza, para posteriormente analizar cómo estas nacionalidades en pasarela acaban creando diálogos relacionados con la política y la etnicidad, en la medida que se trata de mujeres que personifican las naciones por medio de su belleza. | es-ES |
