| dc.description | This paper explores the relationships between the notions of dialectic and rhetoric in the pragma-dialectical theory of argumentation developed primarily by Frans van Eemeren. In this theoretical perspective of argumentation the relations between the dialectics dimension and the rhetoric dimension are based on an assumption that is questionable: this theory assumes that for the argument to develop properly, the dialectic dimension must direct and have a priority over the rhetorical dimension. This interaction is complex and not always clear to address. For this paper has the purpose of performing an analysis of the relationships and conflicts among the main features of the dialectical dimension and the rhetorical dimension within this theoretical framework. Finally, some questions arising from the analysis that can motivate future research developments will arise. | en-US |
| dc.description | Este artículo explora las relaciones entre las nociones de dialéctica y retórica en la teoría pragma dialéctica de la argumentación desarrollada principalmente por Frans van Eemeren. En dicha perspectiva teórica de la argumentación las relaciones entre la dimensión dialéctica y la dimensión retórica parten de un supuesto que resulta cuestionable: esta teoría supone que para que la argumentación se desarrolle adecuadamente, lo dialéctico debe orientar, regular y contar con una prioridad sobre lo retórico. Esta interacción es compleja y no siempre resulta clara de abordar. Para ello se propone realizar un análisis de las relaciones y contraposiciones entre los principales rasgos de la dimensión dialéctica y la dimensión retórica dentro de este marco teórico. Al final, se plantearán algunos interrogantes surgidos del análisis que pueden motivar futuros desarrollos investigativos. | es-ES |
