| dc.description | RESUMENEl maestro, como profesional formador de personas, se enfrenta hoy con el reto de fundamentar su práctica en una sólida reflexión pedagógica acerca de los fines de su acción y los medios más idóneos para lograrlos. Este ensayo pretende reflexionar, a partir de una consideración en torno a los conceptos de educación y pedagogía, acerca del significado e importancia que tiene el saber pedagógico en el quehacer formativo del docente y en el liderazgo que ejerce sobre sus estudiantes y el contexto social.Palabras clave: Educación, pedagogía, práctica pedagógica, formación, aula de clase, liderazgo docente.ABSTRACTToday, teachers, as professionals, face the challenge to base their practice on solid pedagogic reflections about the purpose of their actions and the better ways to achieve them.
