| dc.description | There are many events that have marked our history as a country. Education plays its role as mediator of knowledge at the moment of knowing, remembering, commemorating and even celebrating around these events. However, we consider that there is a tendency to ignore, or if we know to forget, what has happened when these events are negative or can have a destructive influence on our society. Fact that takes away part of the memory and makes us be incomplete citizens. This is where the fundamental action of the teaching staff of the schools lies, who have in their hands the formation of future generations that have great possibilities of being excluded if they are not recognized as critical and reflective citizens, capable of having active participation in the historical processes that require transformations from and for their environment. This presentation exposes how the place of the historical memory of Colombia is present in the discourses of the teachers of "Social Sciences" of the Colegio Veinte de Julio IED, particularly when talking about the concept of massacre. It is based on the guidelines, curricular standards and curricula of this area and the possible speeches that the educators tell the students about the massacres. | en-US |
| dc.description | Son muchos los acontecimientos que han marcado nuestra historia como país. La educación hace su papel de mediadora de saberes en el momento de conocer, recordar, conmemorar e incluso celebrar en torno a estos acontecimientos. Sin embargo, consideramos que hay una tendencia a desconocer, o si se conoce a olvidar, lo que ha sucedido cuando estos sucesos son negativos o pueden influir de manera destructiva en nuestra sociedad. Hecho que nos quita parte de la memoria y nos hace ser ciudadanos incompletos. Aquí es donde radica la acción fundamental del personal docente de los colegios, quienes tienen en sus manos la formación de unas futuras generaciones que cuentan con grandes posibilidades de ser excluidas si no se reconocen como ciudadanía crítica y reflexiva, capaz de tener participación activa en los procesos históricos que requieren transformaciones desde y para su entorno. Esta ponencia expone cómo el lugar de la memoria histórica de Colombia está presente en los discursos de los docentes de “Ciencias Sociales” del Colegio Veinte de Julio IED, en particular cuando se habla del concepto masacre. Se parte de los lineamientos, estándares curriculares y planes de estudio de esta área y de los posibles discursos que los educadores relatan a los estudiantes sobre las masacres. | es-ES |
