| dc.description | Summary The birth of the rational speculation in the ancient Greece is a decisive event for the history of the western culture. Its deeper sense bases in that the human mind applies by first time the natural criteria, logical and empirical, to explore the whole what is real, as if that was susceptible of evidenciable reconstruction and from the supposed that such reality was possessing an immanent order. That supposed Greek persists as essence of the westem rationality and brand an irreversible break with the myth. Tales de Mileto is the emblematic figure of such event and, as a first philosopher, built the first philoshophemas and the first naturalist hypothesis to explain the order of the cosmos. | en-US |
| dc.description | Resumen El nacimiento de la especulación racional en la antigua Grecia es un acontecimiento decisivo para la historia de la cultura occidental. Su más profundo sentido radica en que la mente humana aplica por vez primera los criterios naturales, lógicos y empíricos, para explorar la totalidad de lo real, como si ese todo fuera susceptible de reconstrucción evidenciable y desde el supuesto de que dicha realidad poseía un orden inmanente. Ese supuesto griego persiste como esencia de la racionalidad occidental y marca una ruptura irreversible con el mito. Tales de Mileto es la figura emblemática de dicho acontecimiento y, como primer filósofo, construyó los primeros filosofemas y las primeras hipótesis naturalistas para explicar el orden del cosmos. | es-ES |
