dc.description.abstract	La educación universitaria, como punto importante en el desarrollo social y sostenible del ser humano, puede incorporar el uso eficiente de las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación de la mano de la aplicación de estrategias didácticas para mejorar la calidad educativa. Por tal motivo, en semestres anteriores, la Escuela de Física de la Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS) ha procurado implementar una serie de estrategias didácticas que permiten potenciar el aprendizaje de sus estudiantes de laboratorios de Física. Las estrategias aplicadas (“Just in Time Teaching”, “mediated learning” y enseñanza basada en proyectos) requieren ser evaluadas con el fin de determinar si están cumpliendo con el objetivo que fueron planificadas: desarrollar las competencias investigativas de cada uno de los estudiantes de dichos laboratorios. El presente proyecto de aula comenzó por implementar un plan de mejora de la estrategia didáctica aplicada en los laboratorios de física, los aspectos incluidos en dicho plan de mejora fueron obtenidos de los sondeos de percepción de los semestre anteriores, seleccionando los de mayor impacto en las competencias investigativas: mejoramiento de los proyectos de investigación, reestructuración y ampliación del banco de preguntas, mejoramiento de los CPL (Cuestionarios de Preparación de Laboratorio), reedición de videos introductorios y mejoramiento del aula virtual. A la par, se construyó una herramienta para determinar el nivel de desarrollo de dichas competencias que consta de tres componentes principales: una rúbrica de evaluación de reportes de investigación, dos listas de cotejo para la evaluación de los proyectos finales y videos y una prueba de conocimientos investigativos. La herramienta de medición se implementó en los cursos de laboratorio de física II, logrando así un primer acercamiento a la medición de competencias investigativas.
dc.description.abstractenglish	University education, as an important point in the social and sustainable development of the human being, can incorporate the efficient use of information and communication technologies through the application of didactic strategies to improve educational quality. For this reason, in previous semesters, the School of Physics of the Industrial University of Santander (UIS) has tried to implement a series of teaching strategies that allow to enhance the learning of their students of Physics laboratories. The strategies applied ("Just in Time Teaching", "mediated learning" and project-based teaching) need to be evaluated in order to determine if they are fulfilling the objective they were planned for: to develop the investigative competences of each one of the students of said laboratories. The present classroom project began by implementing a plan to improve the didactic strategy applied in physics laboratories, the aspects included in the improvement plan were obtained from the perception surveys of the previous semester, selecting those with the greatest impact on the investigative competences: improvement of research projects, restructuring and expansion of the question bank, improvement of the CPL (Laboratory Preparation Questionnaires), reissue of introductory videos and improvement of the virtual classroom. At the same time, a tool was created to determine the level of development of these competences, which consists of three main components: a rubric for the evaluation of research reports, two checklists for the evaluation of final projects and videos, and a test of investigative knowledge. The measurement tool was implemented in the Physics II laboratory courses, thus achieving a first approach to the measurement of investigative competences.
