| dc.description.abstract | El presente trabajo de grado consiste en el aprovechamiento de las tecnologías de información y de comunicación, mediante la creación de una aplicación Web que permita centralizar y administrar la información concerniente a la escuela de ingeniería química. La herramienta Web busca generar un espacio poco costoso, con grandes facilidades de difusión y con una administración eficiente, en donde los usuarios puedan dar a conocer sus opiniones, acceder de manera rápida a información siempre actualizada, así como también descargar información de los planes de estudio en formatos .Doc. También se busca promover en los estudiantes el aprovechamiento de las horas de consulta de los docentes; así como orientarlos mejor en el momento de elegir un trabajo de grado y en la continuidad de sus estudios superiores. Los administradores pueden llevar un control sobre los cambios y contenidos, programar actividades y valorar comentarios u opiniones de sus usuarios y en caso de ser necesario proporcionarles una rápida respuesta. Se espera atraer de esta forma no solo a estudiantes interesados en esta área de la ingeniería sino también a empresas que deseen participar de forma activa en la formación profesional, mediante los contratos de aprendizaje. El programa que se utilizó para el desarrollo de la Web fue MICROSOFT FRONTPAGE aprovechando la licencia con que cuenta la Universidad Industrial de Santander. | |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | The present work consists of the advantage of the communication and information technologies, by means of the creation of an application Web that allows to centralize and to administer the information concerning the chemical engineering school. The tool Web looks for to generate a cheap space, with great facilities of diffusion and an efficient administration, in where the users can present their opinions, to accede of a fast way to always updated information, as well as to unload information of the curricula in formats.Doc. Also one looks for to promote in the students the advantage of the hours of consultation of the educational ones; as well as to better orient them at the moment for choosing a graduate project and in the continuity of their superior studies. The administrators can take to a control on the changes and contents, to program activities and to value commentaries or opinions of its users and in case of being necessary to provide a fast answer to them. It is hoped to attract of this form not only students interested in this area of engineering but also companies that wish to participate in active form in the professional formation, by means of learning contracts. The program that was used for the development of the Web was Microsoft Frontpage taking advantage of the license whereupon it counts the Industrial University of Santander. | |
