RESUMEN En la novela El General en su Laberinto de Gabriel García Márquez, cuyo eje central es el último viaje realizado por Simón Bolívar a lo largo del río Magdalena en 1830, año de su muerte, varias posibilidades de lectura nos son ofrecidas. En este ensayo plantearemos algunas de ellas y desarrollaremos fundamentalmente, las que están relacionadas con la temática del "viaje". De esta manera, proponemos una trilogía de viajes simbólicos, uno a través del cuerpo decrépito del General, otro a través de la geografía literaria propuesta en la novela y el último, el viaje de la salida "salida" del General en su Laberinto.
SUMMARY In the novel "El general en su laberinto" by Gabriel Garcia Márquez, whose main is Simon Bolivar's last voyage along the Magdalena River in 1830 - the year of his death Several reading possibilities exist. This essay will outline some of them and basically I will examine those related with the topic of the "voyage". This is why, I propose a trilogy of symbolic voyages: one through the General's decrepit body, other through the literary geography proposed in the novel and last one, the voyage of the "exist" of the General in his labyrinth.
