dc.description.abstractCorona Industrial es una reconocida empresa multinacional de larga tradición en Colombia que se destaca por la producción, manufactura y comercialización de múltiples productos cerámicos para hogares, construcción y diversas industrias. Dentro de sus organizaciones está Locería Colombiana SAS, que se identifica por la elaboración de platos, pocillos, complementos y demás productos cerámicos destinados al momento del uso y decoración de la mesa servida. Durante el año 2020, se lograron evidenciar a nivel internacional ciertas tendencias en vajillería que tenían como en común el uso de técnicas manuales y esmaltes reactivos, que permitieran obtener productos con acabados únicos e irrepetibles al final del proceso. En este sentido, este proyecto desarrolló e implementó una técnica de decoración manual con esmaltes reactivos sobre piezas ya quemadas, iniciando con la reformulación de dichos esmaltes en busca de efectos esperados por parte de las diferentes áreas implicadas, y pasando posteriormente, al escalamiento a nivel semi-industrial e industrial de dicha técnica, asegurando que dicho proceso fuese replicable en un porcentaje mayor o igual al 90%, dando como resultado final una línea con acabados especiales que cumplen con las tendencias actuales de vajillería a nivel nacional e internacional, y adicionalmente, aprovechando una capacidad remanente dentro de la planta de vajillería.
dc.description.abstractenglishCorona Industrial is a recognized multinational company with a long tradition in Colombia that stands out for the production, manufacture, and marketing of multiple ceramic products for homes, construction, and various industries. Among its organizations is Locería Colombiana SAS, which is identified by the preparation of dishes, wells, accessories, and other ceramic products intended for the time of use and decoration of the table served. During the year 2020, certain trends in tableware were evidenced at an international level that had as in common the use of manual techniques and reactive ceramics glazes, which allowed to obtain products with unique and unrepeatable finishes at the end of the process. In this sense, this project developed and implemented a manual decoration technique with reactive ceramics glazes on already burned pieces, starting with the reformulation of these ceramics glazes in search of expected effects by the different areas involved, and then moving on to the scaling up to semi-industrial and industrial level of said technique, ensuring that this process was replicable in a percentage greater than or equal to 90%, giving as a final result a line with special finishes that comply with current trends in tableware nationally and internationally, and additionally, taking advantage of a remaining capacity within the ceramic plant.
