dc.description.abstractLa toma de los registros de producción PLT hacen parte de una de las herramientas para el diagnóstico de los problemas asociados a la producción de un pozo, con el cual, se puede realizar una evaluación del movimiento de los fluidos de fondo bajo condiciones reales de producción, permitiendo determinar alternativas de mejora con el objeto de maximizar la recuperación de las reservas del yacimiento. La toma de los registros de producción PLT comprenden una serie de actividades dentro de las que están, la planeación de la operación y estudio de las condiciones de pozo, la intervención del pozo, la toma de datos en fondo de pozo (el registro propiamente), y la interpretación de la data. El éxito de la toma de los registros se requiere cumplir a cabalidad cada una de las etapas. Este trabajo se constituye en una guía para el ingeniero de petróleos a través de la cual, con conceptos y cálculos prácticos puede realizar una adecuada planeación de la toma de los registros de producción PLT, determinando el tipo de problemas de producción que pueden ser evaluados, las diferentes configuraciones mecánicas de pozo en la que es viable la toma del registro, considerando tópicos como la desviación del pozo, el Sistema de Levantamiento Artificial (ALS), las fuerzas de levantamiento que actúan sobre las herramientas debido a la velocidad del fluido, entre otros. También permite determinar las diferentes opciones de herramientas que pueden ser corridas con el fin de tomar la mayor cantidad de información de fondo. Finalmente, presenta una metodología para la interpretación de la data tomada permitiendo un análisis cualitativo y cuantitavo de la misma.
